Western-Upper Placentia Bay Series (RYAN SURNAME)

The Western-Upper Placentia Bay Series strives to fill the gaps in the families in the area that have been lost to time due to the loss of parish records in the Roman Catholic church of St. Kyran’s (circa 1850-) & Church of England parish in Harbour Buffett (circa 1847-). The loss of these records have been a huge gap in Newfoundland genealogy. The Ryan family of Presque and Paradise in Western Placentia Bay is one of the largest in the bay but yet genealogists have been unable to piece them together into a cohesive tree. If you have any additional information about the below individuals or any other early Ryan people please contact us to add the information. This page will be continually updated with new information.
